Product Description:

The Makita DHP 490 cordless impact drill/driver is a powerful and versatile tool, suitable for both screwdriving and drilling tasks, with or without the impact function. With a maximum torque of 50 Nm (hard) and 27 Nm (soft), the tool offers sufficient power for a wide range of applications. Equipped with a mechanical 2-speed gearbox, the DHP 490 enables both fast drilling in light materials in high-speed mode and precise work requiring high torque in low-speed mode. The torque can be finely adjusted across 20 settings between approximately 1 and 5 Nm, allowing the user to tailor the power output precisely to their needs. The impact drill is fitted with dual LED lighting, which illuminates the work area effectively even in dark or poorly lit environments, ensuring high precision in all tasks. Another highlight is the Makita XPT system, which effectively protects the tool from water and dust, ensuring it operates reliably even under challenging conditions. The ergonomically designed handle ensures maximum comfort, even during prolonged use, and the conveniently positioned reverse switch makes operation easier by allowing quick switching between clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation. The built-in battery protection circuit safeguards the tool against overloading, overheating and over-discharging, thereby contributing to the tool’s longevity. A quick-release chuck allows for easy changing of accessories and ensures that the drill/driver is ready for use in no time. The integrated LED light with pre- and post-illumination functions provides optimum illumination of the work area, thereby increasing efficiency when working in dark environments.
