      I bought this Bosch GDS 12V-EC drill driver 4 years ago and was really happy with it, but since I've been using it for renovations and freelance jobs, switching between drill and screwdriver was annoying. I wanted a Bosch drill with the same color scheme as my other tools, so I chose the GDS 12V-EC, which I liked for its speed settings and glowing LEDs. Both the GDR 12V-105-LI and GDS 12V-EC drills are similar in design and feel good in the hand, with the GDR being lighter and having a keyless chuck, while the GDS has a ratcheting system.
