Il Milwaukee M18 BPD è un trapano avvitatore a percussione a batteria a 18 volt molto maneggevole con una lunghezza di soli 198 mm. Un motore a 4 poli offre le massime prestazioni in un design compatto. Inoltre, l'elettronica REDLINK™ protegge la batteria, il motore e la trasmissione da sovraccarichi, garantendo così una lunga durata. Il trapano ha un robusto alloggiamento in plastica e metallo, un mandrino FIXTEC da 13 mm in metallo ad azione rapida con bloccaggio del mandrino, una regolazione della coppia di serraggio con 18 posizioni più una di foratura nonché un'elettronica con regolazione continua della velocità. Il monitoraggio a cella singola aumenta anche la durata di funzionamento della batteria, che può essere controllata con un indicatore del livello di carica della batteria integrato. Allo stesso tempo, l'illuminazione a LED, anch'essa integrata, fornisce un'illuminazione sufficiente della postazione di lavoro. Un'impugnatura con supporto soft-grip contribuisce il massimo comfort per l'utente.
